curriculumEmanuela Merelli is a computer science researcher at Camerino University . She received a Computer Science degree from Università of Pisa. She has been formed collaborating with national and international researcher groups for distributed systems and the networks. In 1986 she was "Visiting Scientist" at the IBM-European Networking Center in Heidelberg ; in 1987 she received a "CNR fellowship" in Pisa , she was Editor int.le of the Iso/Osi-WG6. In 1990, she has been moved, with the family, to Camerino, where she has contributed to the birth of the Computer Science Pole and the research group in "Complex software systems"; from some years she is working in Bioinformatics and collaborating with Dr.Luca Toldo from Merck KGaA, for the developing of agent-based platform to support the bioinformatics researcher (BioAgent). In 2000, she received the PhD in Artificial Intelligent Systems at University of Ancona . In 2003 she received the Fulbright Scholarship at the University of Oregon.
